Jessica Lavariega-Monforti

Jessica Lavariega Monforti, coeditor of Black and Latino/a Politics: Issues in Political Development in the United States, is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas, Pan American. She earned a Ph.D. in political science from The Ohio State University and a B.S. degree in political science and women's studies from Florida State University. Her research focuses on the political incorporation of Latinas/os and other racial/ethnic groups, as well as women, in the United States.
